Foyle Film Festival 09.09.04
TWITCH is coming out of its well deserved retirement for a one off screening at the Saint Petersburg Festival of Experimental Films, organized by the Open Cinema Centre and Theatre DEREVO.

This will be TWITCH's Russian premiere as part of the Vertical Art Project, an annual event created to promote Saint Petersburg's arts and culture.

Foyle Film Festival 29.09.02
TWITCH has been invited to compete at the 15th edition of the prestigious Foyle Film Festival, the Northern Ireland International Film Festival that takes place in Derry from November 22nd to December 1st.

This will probably be TWITCH's last festival screening in Europe and maybe in the world. After a very long and successful film festivals round, the film will continue being available via Television, Internet and domestic video.

Halloween Film Festival 29.09.02
TWITCH has been invited to screen at the Halloween Film Festival in Stuttgart, Germany from 7th to 9th November.

This festival's mission is to show new genre productions but also classics or particularly successful movies by upcoming new filmmakers. It takes place every year around Halloween and is aimed at those viewers not solely interested in the mainstream movie business or big budget films.

Eyescream Short Film Festival 29.09.02
TWITCH will take part of the inaugural Eyescream Short Film Festival, a Halloween event organized by the Tap Gallery on Thursday 31st October.

For incredible that it seems, this is only TWITCH's second public screening in its home town, the city of Sydney; so this is your chance to see it if you're a local. This is a fancy dress and masquerade night that celebrates the darker side of film with host Cathy Flower.

Visionaria 27.09.02
TWITCH has been selected to compete for the "Titles Award" at the Visionaria International Video Festival in Siena, Italy between October 26th and November 9th.

This festival spans for a 15 day period with many different events, mainly dedicated to audiovisual imagination linked to contemporaneity. It features works that maybe are not that well known but surely very creative. We are very happy to see TWITCH's popularity in Italy still increasing.

Fano International Film Festival 27.09.02
TWITCH will screen at the Fano International Film Festival that takes place at the end of October in Italy.

This festival has gained great prestige and interest over the years in Italy and abroad. It has become a landmark for filmmakers, experts and the specialized Press as a significant and qualifying moment for the whole genuine independent Italian and international cinema.

Commonwealth Film Festival 08.05.02
TWITCH will be one of the films representing Australia at the Commonwealth Film Festival in Manchester, U.K.

The festival will showcase nearly 300 new feature films, shorts and documentaries from many of the 72 nations of the Commonwealth.

TWITCH will be shown as part of the Chillers Programme. This will be the film's premiere in Northern England.

Mundial del Corto 08.05.02
TWITCH is to be screened in Argentina at the Mundial del Corto, as part of a retrospective series representing the IV Edition of La Boca del Lobo, the Madrid based Film Festival TWITCH took part last year.

This On Tour Project has taken TWITCH all around Spain but now it's the first time the film is to be seen in Argentina. TWITCH is to be projected with Spanish subtitles.

Lausanne Underground Film Festival 08.05.02
TWITCH will compete at the Lausanne Underground Film Festival in Switzerland.

Apart from the feature and short films competition, the festival offers retrospective cult sessions, weird documentaries, experimental cinema and psychedelic movies.

For the first time ever, TWITCH will be screened with French subtitles.

Digital Culture 08.05.02
TWITCH will compete representing the Alternative Film Festival at Digital Culture 2002, a very important audiovisual exhibition which also features a competition for Italian Film Festivals organized by ProVideo and Video Tecnica Magazine.

In October 2001 TWITCH won the Best Movie Award at the Alternative Film Festival and the organizers of that festival present TWITCH as their entry in this event, in which around 40 film festivals compete.

Movieola 23.04.02
Since around last January, TWITCH has become a regular feature of the Canadian Short Film Channel Movieola.

Movieola is the first channel in the world that shows short films seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. With the over-population of short films in existence, a channel like this is a great example to be taken in other countries around the world.

TWITCH is often played as part of the late night program Dementia, which mainly features original, twisted and bizarre shorts.

Raglan Film Festival 17.03.02
TWITCH will screen at the 4th edition of the Raglan Film Festival in Formia, Latina, Italy, between 27th and 29th March.

In this independent film festival, artists and spectators are gathered in a same space with the intention of triggering the dialogue and interaction between them.

Apart from the fiction section, the festival counts with a section exclusively dedicated to women filmmakers and another dedicated to more experimental works, product of the growth of digital technologies and their access by independent artists.

Uruguay's International Film Festival 24.02.02
TWITCH will have its South American premiere at the 20th edition of Uruguay's International Film Festival in Montevideo, Uruguay, between March 23rd and April 7th.

Organized by Cinemateca Uruguaya, this is one of the most prestigious events in the continent and apart from local and international films, they also run workshops often conducted by well known figures of world cinema.

TWITCH will be screened with subtitles in Spanish.

Strange Brew 21.02.02
TWITCH will screen at the Strange Brew Midnight Indie Film Fest in Springfield, Ohio, U.S.A.

This a non competitive event that takes place every Friday at the Strange Brew Coffehouse & Restaurant, an all vegan place that would make actress Jessica Napier very happy.

They also support local and not so local indie filmmakers. On their website you'll find a page dedicated to the featured artists.

Mikrokino FEST 09.02.02
TWITCH will compete at Mikrokino FEST 2002, an international short film festival to be held for the second time from 22nd to 26th February in Belgrade, Serbia.

Mikrokino FEST 2002 is organized by LOW-FI VIDEO (Belgrade-based organization promoting short, independent and alternative films). LOW-FI VIDEO was launched in 1997, and to this date it has screened almost 500 Serbian and more than 160 foreign short films.

Get ready for TWITCH's first ever online film festival at www.shorts-welcome.de, a monthly series of short films screenings organized by Munich based company Kirch Intermedia.

There are two monthly winners, one chosen by the Internet viewers and another one selected by the jury. The monthly winners get to compete at an offline grand final at the end of the year. So, get ready to vote at das Online Filmfest!

Exground Filmfest 25.10.01
TWITCH will screen at the Exground Filmfest on November 23rd in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The Exground Filmfest presents unusual films from all over the world: American independents, films from Asia, international features, short films, music films and more.

TWITCH is to be shown within a section called TOD & SCHICKSAL, which means Death & Destiny.

La Boca del Lobo 26.09.01
TWITCH is to screen in Madrid as part of the IV Int'l Short Film Festival La Boca del Lobo on October 19th.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the film to be seen by people in the Spanish capital city... and later on, probably in other places across that country if included in their On Tour Project.

TWITCH will be screened with Spanish subtitles.

RIIFF 24.09.01
TWITCH has been selected to compete in the Rhode Island Int'l Horror Film Festival, on October 26th to 28th in Providence, R.I.

Inaugurated by popular demand, this is a genre side bar of the open topic festival that has been taking place in August each year.

This is TWITCH's East Coast premiere in the United States... and New England, land of spooky colonial legends, seems to be the best place in that country for a horror film festival.

Wetfest Fed On 11.09.01
TWITCH will compete in the open section of Wetfest Fed On Film, which takes place as part of Cairns Celebration of Film in Northern Queensland.

This is an annual event in one of the most naturally spectacular tropical environments of Australia. It aims to entertain and enrich the community with a festival of film that nurtures filmmaking skills, cultural awareness and community values.

It is a great opportunity for short Australian films to be seen in a city far away from the usual cultural venues of the Southern metropolis.

LA Shorts Fest 06.09.01
TWITCH has been selected to compete at the prestigious Los Angeles International Short Film Festival that takes place between 3rd and 8th October in Hollywood, California.

The L.A. Shorts Fest is the premiere festival of short films in the U.S. It screens over 200 films and includes panel discussions, workshops and a development market. The winning shorts are also eligible for Oscar nominations.

This will be TWITCH's West Coast Premiere in the United States.

Alternative Film Festival 11.08.01
TWITCH will participate at the Alternative Film Festival that takes place in Picciano, a village in the province of Pescara, Italy.

The Alternative Film Festival focuses on young Italian and international cinema of an innovative nature.

TWITCH will be screened in its original English version with Italian subtitles so it can be appreciated by everyone attending the festival.

Open Air Filmfest Weiterstadt 12.07.01
TWITCH will have its long due German premiere at the Open Air Filmfest Weiterstadt, which takes place during August in Hessen, Germany.

This is the oldest open air film festival in Germany, which now happens to celebrate its 25th year of existence. Due to its unusual location in the forest and its popular character, it has been often described as the "Woodstock of Short Films".

Chichester International Film Festival 04.07.01
TWITCH has been selected to screen at the Chichester International Film Festival in West Sussex, England, between August 23rd and September 9th 2001.

Short films in Chichester are generally shown in conjunction with full length movies and members of the audience get to vote for their favourite short.

TWITCH will screen together with the controversial French feature Baise-moi.

TWITCH will be screening at this year's edition of Eye Candy in Croydon, Victoria.

This is a great way to take the film to certain parts of Australia often overlooked by the film festivals tours and see what the locals think of it.

Sitges International Film Festival 28.06.01
TWITCH will have its Spanish premiere at the Sitges International Film Festival in Catalunya, Spain.

This is one of the most prestigious fantasy film festivals in the world and a great place for any film to be shown.

TWITCH will be part of the Brigadoon section, which is often dedicated to original and radical works of the fantasy and horror genres. TWITCH will be screened with Spanish subtitles.

Highgate Film Festival 12.06.01
TWITCH will be competing at the Highgate Film Festival in Northern London during the week starting July 16th.

Planned as a summer event, the Highgate Film Festival continues with a wide range of features and shorts up to July 25th. It is very satisfying to see TWITCH so active in the British Festival circuit.

Panorama Of Independent Film & Video Makers 12.06.01
TWITCH will have its Greek premiere at the Panorama Of Independent Film & Video Makers in Thessaloniki on October 15th.

Organized by the Cinema Club of the Trade Union of Thessaloniki, this festival is very open to the maverick spirit of Independent Film Makers and it gives us the great opportunity to take the film to an area of Europe where it has not been screened yet.

Dahlonega International Film Festival 12.06.01
No, it is not the sleeve of a Led Zeppelin album but a place somewhere in Georgia, U.S.A., called Dahlonega. Well, TWITCH will have a low key "out of competition" screening at the first Dahlonega International Film Festival.

It is the film's second screening in North America where it seems to be much more popular online on the Internet than offline at their festivals. So, any screening, no matter how small, is welcome... and what's more: the photo looks great!

Reykjavik Shortfilm Festival 15.05.01
TWITCH will be screening at the Reykjavik Shortfilm Festival in Iceland between May 23rd and 25th. It is a great honour to be part of a festival taking place at the other extreme of the planet (if you consider Australia's geographical position).

Images of TWITCH are also featured in the official poster of the festival which is to be seen all over Reykjavik.

St. Kilda Film Festival 12.04.01
TWITCH has been selected to compete at the St. Kilda Film Festival in Melbourne, followed by a national tour which will give people in Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth the chance to see the film for the first time, while to those in Sydney and Canberra the chance to see it again.
With near 160 Australian short films, the St. Kilda Film Festival is the largest showcase in the country; it is one of the oldest festivals too.

TWITCH has been invited to screen at Filmstock, the 2nd International Film Festival in Luton, U.K.
Filmstock is a festival by film makers for film makers. They screen short films and features by professionals, amateurs and educational groups.
It will be TWITCH's third festival in the United Kingdom, proving the film's popularity in that country.

WorldFest Houston 15.03.01
TWITCH will have its North American premiere at WorldFest, the Houston International Film Festival.
WorldFest will continue this year with its Short Film Showcase, a special review of 100 new short and student films... from the festival that discovered Spielberg, Lucas and Lynch.

Brief Encounters 16.09.00
TWITCH has been invited to screen in the International Selection of Brief Encounters, Bristol's Short Film Festival, where it will compete for the Audience Award.
Patrons of the festival include Monty Python's Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones, which makes it all very exciting.
TWITCH screening will take place between 15th and 19th November.

Melbourne Fringe Festival 14.09.00
TWITCH will be competing at Short Stuff Gets Spooky, a film festival organized by OffWorld Films and the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

A festival within a festival, Short Stuff Gets Spooky is the horror and science fiction section of the Festival. It is maybe the first genre film festival that takes place in Australia.

TWITCH has been selected to compete at the Fantastik Film Festival in Sweden. This is the largest Fantasy Film Festival in Scandinavia.
TWITCH European Premiere will take place between 20th and 24th September in Malmo and Lund. TWITCH will screen together with Japanese cult feature Return Of The Streetfighter.
